Nadine Saxton is a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto And the GTA. With a background in CranioSacral Therapy, Somatic Movement Therapy and the arts, she uses touch and movement to help people process the physical experience of their pain, stress, and trauma.

What is a Holistic Psychotherapist?

My approach to psychotherapy is holistic. Our bodies are home to all we think, feel and do.

A simple example, that most of us deal with in everyday life, is stress manifesting in stiff shoulders and neck, back pains, joint pains, headaches and/or stomach aches. Often these pains are messages from earlier life trauma.

In additon to Talk therapy that uses an Interpersonal Neurobiological (IPNB) approach, the processing modalities I have available to support my clients are CranioSacral therapy, Myofascial Release, somatic movement, narrative writing, dance, role playing, Somato-Emotional Release, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also incorporate Emotion Focussed Therapy (EFT) into sessionS.

Together we look at the issues that are impacting your mind and body, holding you back from being in a healthy relationship with yourself and others. I help you make the necessary shifts that align your thoughts, your feelings and your actions so you can make a lasting and healthy transformation to the life you want.
